October 2024 Newsletter

From the Executive Director

On behalf of the Nevada Housing Coalition, I would like to extend our heartfelt thanks for your presence and participation at our 5th Annual Statewide Housing Conference in the City of Sparks. This year’s event was a true testament to the power of collaboration and dedication within our coalition. The discussions, thought-provoking sessions, and invaluable insights shared have left a lasting impact, one that I am confident will drive meaningful progress in Nevada’s affordable housing sector.

This conference would not have been possible without the unwavering support of our sponsors, and, most importantly, our coalition members. Your commitment and enthusiasm make events like these not only possible but transformative. As this was my first conference in an oversight role, it was especially rewarding to see the tremendous effort that went into every detail. I am continually inspired by the dedication of our team, particularly our Director of Communications and Marketing, Amanda Lakin, whose exceptional work was integral to the event’s success. Her leadership and commitment brought this vision to life, making it a remarkable experience for all.

Looking ahead, I am excited to share that our next conference will be held in Las Vegas at the Circa Resort and Casino on October 15th and 16th. We hope to build on this year’s success and create another impactful gathering that fosters solutions, strengthens partnerships, and supports Nevada’s affordable housing goals.

Thank you once again for your support, engagement, and shared commitment to affordable housing in Nevada. We look forward to seeing you in Las Vegas next year!
