From the Executive Director

Leadership, partnership, and bipartisanship - these words from Governor Lombardo’s State of the State address resonate deeply with the Nevada Housing Coalition’s mission and the work we do every day to address housing challenges across our state.
Governor Lombardo’s introduction of the Nevada Housing Accountability Act and the Nevada Attainable Housing Act marks a significant step forward in tackling Nevada’s housing crisis. His commitment to reducing barriers, streamlining processes, and prioritizing solutions rooted in public-private partnerships reflects the collaborative spirit needed to ensure every Nevadan has access to safe, affordable, and attainable housing.
|
At the Nevada Housing Coalition, we applaud his focus on creating a billion-dollar pipeline of attainable housing units, leveraging state funding to foster pathways to homeownership and housing stability.
As we enter this legislative session, the Nevada Housing Coalition looks forward to reviewing the Governor’s bill in detail and working closely with state leaders, local governments, builders, and community stakeholders to turn these promises into action. Together, we can tackle the housing crisis head-on, ensuring Nevada remains a place where families thrive, communities grow, and dreams take root.
This is the Nevada Way and we’re proud to be part of it.
