Join us as we celebrate National Homeownership Month with a Lunch & Learn focused on expanding homeownership in Nevada.

We will hear from Kathy Freeman of Neighborhood Housing Services of Southern Nevada (NHSSN) who will discuss the ground-level support NHSSN provides including education and counseling. She will share the community outreach work the organization does as well as barriers and breakthroughs they are seeing in the field.

Josie Hatem from the Nevada Housing Division (NHD) will share the homebuyer programs the Division offers including first-time homebuyer assistance and downpayment assistance. You will learn more about the work the NHD does along with recent trends and the impact NHD has made over the last few years.

We will also hear from Assemblymember Heidi Kasama who will share a policy and market perspective including trends you are seeing in the real estate market and the effects AB540 will have on the state of Nevada.
